A Quick Spin in the 2023 Cadillac XT6

The 2024 Cadillac XT4 in Argent Silver Sport hits the road, showing off curated design updates for a bold, modern look. Argent Silver Sport and all-new 20-inch alloy wheels shown here.

We spent a glorious week driving the 2023 Cadillac XT6. It was seven days we wished would never end, but all was not perfect.

The XT6 is a mid-sized 3-row luxury SUV. This sporty high-end SUV is so beautiful you wish it were a purse with matching pumps. It’s so good that it gives its Lincoln Aviator rival a serious run for its money.

The interior of the Cadillac XT6 cabin is spacious and comfortable. Unfortunately, the materials used inside do not match the upscale vibe. Power for the XT6 comes from Cadillac’s 3.6-liter direct-injection V6 engine. It is matched to a 9-speed automatic transmission, making for a combo that is oh-so-fast.

We made it to our morning spin class with enough time to stop by our local Java Emporium. It’s just the thing to soothe the pre- and post-spin jitters.

The XT6 was launched during the pandemic lockdown. There are a few changes for the 2023 model year. Our tester was the top-shelf XT6 Sport model and was available with in-dash navigation and heated front and rear seats. Noteworthy is the touchscreen infotainment system now equipped with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration. Onboard Wi-Fi, and Qi wireless smartphone charging are also included.
