Esto se va a poner bueno, mi gente. Watched the advance premier of Starz new hit series “VIDA” which premiered May 6th with an all stellar latino/latina cast. This original series centers around two sisters who have to readjust to each other after their mother dies. They have to come back to their childhood neighborhood to find that the families business ” La Chinita Bar” and the apartment complex left by their mother is in debt-ridden. So the question is to sell or hang on to the DTLA property.
The sisters are like night and day. Emma( Mishel Prada) has a successful corporate career back in Chicago. And care -free Lyn ( Melissa Barrera) loves living off rich boyfriends. But know both sisters must rely on each other and contend with their mothers deeply kept secret and the brink of irrevocable change that looms outside the door by developers.
