A new addition to The Midtown Colony has open its doors Stock and Stable a bold and unique american gastropub that showcases a fresh, hearty new american menu paired with an exotique cocktails and an extensive collection of craft beers. All offered in a stylish 1950’s 2 story revamped building.
Stock and Stables enchanting open dining room with natural light and a beautiful wrap around bar that can seat 29 food lovers will capture your visual senses and its Italian influenced menu will delight your palate with rich, fresh and bold culinary flavors in every bite.
During its opening celebration we had the delight to taste some of its menu. We started with its Shared Plates Fermented Beets a mix of heirloom carrots, goat cheese, curds and marcona almond butter.Our second entree was Beef Tongue Pastrami a delightful combination of pickled endive, thousand island, fingerling chips, rye ( a fancy chicharon ) one of my favorites was the Shrimp Cocktail succulent frutti di mare, horseradish, celery, leaf and preserved citrus.
Another delightful surprise was the Smoked Corn Manti blend of asparagus radish, pepita and feta and to end the night a Salt Cods Tots a combo of celery, mustard seed, olive and anchovy all exquisite and delightful as its staff a truly great new addition to The Midtown Colony.
