Nested in the heart of the Biltmore Fashion Square you will find Wink 24 and it’s passionate culinary creations of wood-fire pizzas, paninis, salads, exquisite cocktails and select wines. It’s an enchanting place with bright colors, and a delightful menu created by Fernanda Borletti with lots of love and that is the theme ” Con Amore.Per Favore” you will find across Wink 24 from staff’s uniform to the wrap full of well wishes used to wrap each panini.
I had the pleasure of tasting the love fill menu such as the Zucchini Fritte, paper thin slices with yogurt dipping which will be a crowd favorite and add a Cucumber Basil Martini to refresh you from the summer heat.
Our next entree and one of my favorite Spicy Meatballs with spicy tomato sauce and fresh baked bread pair that with Barbabietola Salad a blend of Fire-roasted beets served over a bed of arugula & spicy yogurt sauce.
For the main we tasted its wood-fire Margherita Pizza a mix of Mozzarella, basil, Parmigiano Reggiano & tomato sauce and my favorite was the Diavola Pizza Tomato sauce, onions, sopressata, roasted bell peppers & oregano add Chile Morita Sauce a spicy kick to your pizza and a must try. You see Fernanda incorporated a dash of the flavors of her native Monterrey, Mexico on to the menu of Wink 24.
Oh and be prepared be transported to dolce heaven with its Tiramisu in a jar and that marked the end of our enchanting evening. If you’re in Arizona, I invite you to check it out and experience the amore of Wink 24.
